Jed Siev is associate professor of psychology at Swarthmore College, and a licensed clinical psychologist. Previously, he directed the Anxiety Treatment Center and founded the OCD and Related Disorders Program at Nova Southeastern University, after completing training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania. Jed’s research focuses on information processing, judgment and decision making, and meta-cognitive processes involved in the maintenance and reduction of OCD, hoarding, and anxiety, and he has a particular interest in unacceptable thoughts and especially scrupulosity. He is currently writing a book for Oxford University Press on how to treat scrupulosity.
