Hilchot Shabbat 12:7-8 (Asking a non-Jew or child to put out a fire)

If a Jewish person’s house is burning on Shabbat, may he ask a non-Jew to extinguish it? What about a child who tries to put it out – do we need to stop him? Plus: the source of the idea that “carrying” is a melacha.
