Heaven on Earth (Episode 38)

March 4, 2019 11:26 am

Heresy in the Bible?! Psalms 115:16 tells us that the heavens belong to the Lord, while the earth was given to humanity – a statement that implies either the heretical idea that G-d has abandoned the earth, or the painfully obvious fact that the divine realm is a spiritual, heavenly reality. But this verse contains more than meets the eye… and it all starts with a seemingly meaningless repetition. Join David Nekrutman and Rabbi Pesach Wolicki for a fascinating discussion about G-d’s expectations for man, humanity’s role on earth, and the nature of the human partnership with the Divine.

This episode of the Cup of Salvation Podcast is sponsored by A Taste Of Israel-Culinary Tours, hosted by Lori Hinze – Chef, Speaker, Educator, and Christian Zionist. From cooking classes to vineyard visits, Lori offers unique standard and custom tours to Israel, where you experience THE miracle of Israel through Food. Her next trip is May 25-June 3, 2019. You can also invite Lori to speak at your event about the miracle of Israel through food. Visit www.atasteofisrael.com for more information.

Noam party calls to reverse the government’s adoption of UN Resolution 1325 to have women more involved in matters of peace and security. In case you thought they were only homophobes - they’re also misogynists! https://twitter.com/noamparty/status/1377494819669479425

Really disappointing that @Ami_Magazine would celebrate the career of a man released from prison in 2017 after pleading guilty to bribery, attempted bribery, and obstruction of justice. The only references to prison discuss the rabbi's suffering and greatness. No contrition.
