(8) The Genius of Yankee Pitching Philosophy (No, This is Not Sarcasm)

August 23, 2018 9:22 am

It all started with a casual observation: the New York Yankees rank first in fastball velocity, and last in fastball usage. That sounds like the team doesn’t know what it’s doing, but the Baseball Rabbi, Pesach Wolicki, jumped into the rabbit hole to find out what’s really going on – and the numbers kept getting curiouser and curiouser. To Scott Kahn’s everlasting regret, Pesach discovered that the Yankees are expanding the strike zone in a manner as brilliant as it is unexpected. Join us as we uncover the Yankees’ organizational pitching philosophy, and discover that they are at the forefront of an MLB pitching revolution.

THIS. IS. AWESOME.
No matter where you stand politically, this is the wonderful America I remember from my youth and this is the culture that I am going to do everything in my power to bring to Israel - including the necessary electoral reform to allow for it.

@kaitlancollins Watch Biden swear in his political appointees and issue a warning:

"If you're ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise I will fire you on the spot."
